What we Do
Currently, the Association for Children in Crisis is carrying out care and support activities for twenty (20) children and providing livelihood support for thirty (30) vulnerable women in the Tonkolili district. This project is supported by the German Development Bank (KFW) through the National AIDS Commission.

We also provide psychological, tracing and reunification support to street children in Freetown.

Current Activities:
-Education support to orphans and vulnerable children
-Sensitization
-Business support to vulnerable women
-Workshops & Capacity Building (funded by Enciss):
-Non-violent elections training for 80 police officers, political party
agents,and community members in the Western Area (see photos below)
-Training for women on gender roles and leadership: 40 women in
Freetown (see photos below) and 40 women in Waterloo (workshop to be
completed September 20, 2012).
-Workshops for youth entitled Role of Youths in Peace Development: 40
youth in Freetown and 40 youth in Waterloo
